The Role:
In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you serve as part of a team that is a central point of contact throughout the pothole repair lifecycle, managing communications and coordination between customers and internal teams to drive company sales, growth and revenue. The position will also perform administrative tasks and be responsible for keeping track of customer accounts, by preparing proposals and updating records, as well as other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
You will:
- Use our CRM and Project Management System to document all your activities and customer interactions.
- Triage and address inbound customer emails, calls, chats and automated tasks including communication from high value clients. Liaise with the Business Development Team.
- Make outbound calls to existing and past customers.
- Review reported potholes, conduct research to find the decision maker. We want to know “who owns the pothole?” and who can approve the repair.
- Based on the reported potholes, set up tasks for the Operations Team to schedule the week for property surveys and inspections.
- Send out quotes to customers and follow up on open quotes.
- Set up tasks for the Operations Team to schedule the Asphalt Technicians to complete repairs. Manage the insurance and compliance process.
- Close sales for completed repairs and set up tasks with the Administration Team to send out invoices.
- Work with the Administration Team to follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Provide general support to Area Managers on questions about potholes, quotes, or customer engagement.
- Identify customers who need in-person engagement meetings, presentations, quality control check and regular follow ups and set up tasks for the Operations Team to schedule the week for the Area Managers.
- Follow up with past customers through our reengagement strategy.
- Assist with networking events, expos and association meetings and conferences as needed.
- Support any other related work.
What We’re Looking For:
- You have 1-2 years of sales experience.
- You are detail oriented and like a process driven approach to work.
- You have the ability to work closely with a team and be comfortable working independently at your desk on the computer and on the phone.
- You will have the ability to proactively work independently within a team and problem solve, while displaying professional discretion, good math skills and a high degree of organizational aptitude.
- You bring strong communication and relationship-building skills using a variety of communication platforms.
- You will have the ability to identify problems, gaps and opportunities and then research and find the best solution or contact.
- Proficient in MS Office products, Google Suite, internet research and working knowledge of relevant software (e.g. CRM)
- You bring a proactive, positive work ethic, balancing hard work with a sense of fun and a drive to learn new skills.

- You will have the skills and ability to be discreet while working with financial and confidential information.
- You may have the ability to speak Spanish or another foreign language but this is not required.
- High school diploma; further education will be a plus
